Committed to the Environment
Packaging: BigBellySolar has made an effort to reduce the amount of packaging for our product (balanced by the need to protect BigBelly in shipping). The result is less cardboard and plastic to dispose of or recycle. Both cardboard and pallets are recyclable.
Reduction in Bags: Part of BigBelly's efficiency model is reduction in number of bags vs. traditional receptacles. We estimate a 75% reduction in the number of bags needed with a BigBelly.
New Leak Proof Bins: BigBellySolar has developed leakproof bins for BigBelly. You can choose to eliminate bags entirely with this new bin.
