The Brill Accu 380 electric lawn mower is easy to set up. While it takes a few more minutes than the Luxus 33 and Luxus 38, the added benefit of the battery powered reel makes it worth it. Below are instructions on how to assemble your new rechargable electric mower.

Your Accu ASM 380 box will look similar to this when you get it.

Open the box. And save all the pieces. |
 |
Included should be:
- 1 Accu Electric Lawnmower
- 1 Upper section of the guide handle
- 1 Middle section of the guide handle
- 1 Lower section of the guide handle
- Assembly parts for the guide handle in a plastic bag
- And 1 guage

and
- 1 Power Accu 24 volt battery pack and charger.
Go plug in your battery to start charging it now. It will take 24 hours before you are ready to mow you lawn with it. |

ATTENTION! This is the most common installation error ::
As it says in the manual, slip the lower section of the guide handle over the silver knobs. No tools are required. This takes a bit of strength to do, but once it is in there, the hardest part of assembly is done. |

When that step is done, your lawn mower will look like this. |
 |
Next, assemble the “node.” The node is simply the two black pieces stuck together with screws. Follow the manual on how to assemble the handle node section. |
 |
Line the rest of the pieces up so that putting them together is easy.

- Put the wire through the node.
- snap the node back in place.
- Put the screws in.
|
 |
Once the node is in, your lawnmower will look similar to this.
At this point, assembly is almost complete!

Finally, take the screws with the orange tops and connect the middle section to the upper section of the guide handle, as shown. |
 |
When your battery is fully charged, slide your battery into it's slot on the Accu and you are ready to go.

- if you live in a climate which has cold weather- we recommend you store your Accu battery inside your home to avoid exposure to extreme cold.
- and you still need to remember to keep that little metal strip to do your future blade adjustments.
- spray blades with a silicone spray before each use.
- and brush that icky wet grass off those blades after each use.
